Hello Journal! What a weekend of excesses...hadn't eaten like this for a few months! Arrgghh. I felt so so heavy...Slept badly, felt kind of stoned in the mornings, scales shot up Sat night to 64.7! (of course, constipated from all that)...it was in the end not worth it. Sobering up since last night. This is going to be a good week!

Hello Journal!!! That's it! 10 miles Race on Sunday 22.04.2012: DONE!!! 29,600 participants, and I finished 15,572th...Greatest achievement for me: I completed that tough race! Better: I did it under my estimate of 1h50, in actually 1h48'22''. Hip hip hip!!!!
So soooooooo glad!!! A fortnight of resting now from heavy running, well deserved....

Hello Journal! Just recording latest developments with my body: with all this running in preparation of the race, I have lost even more weight although I am exploding my daily RDI. Went through half a roast chicken last night for dinner, plus sweets...I am sure I went over 2,500 cals yesterday, although the counter here says a bit less... But as the body craves it and I am not putting on weight, then let's feed it.
Cannot wait for race day now....

Hello Journal! Great grey day today, and public transport strike :-))). What a start of the week after a splendid Easter weekend away! Went to visit friends and family near Paris, nice time out really! I squeezed in long jogs in the beautiful Versailles Castle gardens and parks early mornings, and it was pure bliss!
Anyhow, I noticed the following:
Being away from home and my routine (5 days/week in the office), I tended to snack less, stick to main meals and to 1 or 2 pieces of fruit per day. However I drank less water during the day as well - and more alcohol with the meals. But the long jogs first thing in the morning moved my weight down in about 6 days: almost 2 kilos less! I weighed in, at 61.2 kilos last night, and 60.7 kilos this morning.
Ok, gotta update my food diary now, as I did not care much about this during my holiday... :-))
