The alarm startled me awake this morning. I had a muscle pain across my chest and my arm was hurting (this happens usually when I am stressed or anxious about something), so in my half awake state I convinced myself I was having a heart attack because I ate McDonald's for supper. It did get me out of bed and I packed my lunch before I took a shower or anything and I brought a yogurt for breakfast. I'm also going to print a phrase I saw as someone's profile pic here and hang it on my fridge - "Every time you eat or drink you are either feeding disease or fighting it." So true!
Yesterday 1 serving fruit, possibly a partial veggie serving, not sure how to count the tomatoes and green onions on my taco dip. Certainly not 5, but more than 1.

Couldn't wait for the weekend, did my hair color last night. I was picturing it a little darker, but am really liking it!!
I'm trying to figure out a way to help myself track servings of fruit and vegetables. Maybe a chart hanging on my fridge, or write it on my calendar. . . any ideas?

We are doing a room rearrange at our house I'm super excited about. My daughter will have her own room upstairs with her brother and their playroom will become my husband's hobby room. While we are painting those 2 rooms and rearranging items, I'm going to paint my bedroom a different color. Not sure what yet though, it hasn't been changed in 10 years!
I've also been toying with coloring my hair a bit differently. It's been dirty blonde/light brown/highlight for a long time. Over the past few months I've let my natural color grow in which is a mousey lightish brown (and yikes gray, only in the front, of course!) Usually I get a light ash brown to cover the gray, but I opted for a medium brown. My idea is a darker base color with just a very few blonde highlights. Hope it works out as I imagine. I should have time this weekend to do it!

Started tracking again today. Not pretty, but not 2000+ calories like I assumed it would be. Got groceries during my lunch hour to follow the Dash Diet. That's going to be my starting guideline, get more whole foods, less processed empty foods. Going to plan plan plan for success :)
And instead of running away from the wagon when I fall off, I'm going to get back on.. . .even if it is 100 times!
