Married to the love of my life. Between us we have 3 sons and 3 daughters, ranging from age 20 to 34! 4 Granddaughters and 1 grandson. I work as a CSR for an insurance agent. I really enjoy reading, which can be bad in that it keeps me from being as active as I could be. I also enjoy crocheting, sewing, and making things for others. I really enjoy baking and cooking for others, so now I am looking for and learning how to prepare better options to support my cooking/baking habits! I am a very positive person and find it very natural to encourage others.

I've fought my weight ever since the birth of my first son, so for about 31 years it has been up and down. I started this time at my highest weight, and it really scares me to be that heavy. I know it's hard on my body. I had surgery on my cervical spine Jan 2013 due to osteoarthritis, so my exercise has admittedly been less than stellar these past 5 years leading up to it, and since then. The pain is better, but the limited range of motion makes some things harder to do. I also have fibro, but I have worked to keep it under control.

So, instead of feeling sorry for myself, giving up and allowing myself to become more obese, I've GOT to fight back! Healthier is more than just a state of mind - it has to be a physical state soon. I want to visit my grandchildren this summer and not be that really fat grandma. I'm tired of being trapped in a fat woman's body! Time for who I can picture myself being to be set free!!
