I'm 28 and have two sons who are 13 and 8. I have always thought I was more chunky than my friends, even in high school when I was 145 pounds. I got pregnant when I was 14 and gained 50 pounds. After he was born I never could get back under about 170. Then I got pregnant again when I was 18. I only gained about 25 pounds with that pregnancy and shed all of my baby weight almost immediately. Then over the years, because of my complacency, my weight has crept back up. I gained a few pounds every year until I hit 218. I went on weight watchers and got down to 190. Then I quit smoking and gained 30 pounds last year. I'm tired of the weight/diet yo-yo. I want to teach myself to make healthy choices about food and to make exercise a permanent part of my routine so that I can get healthy and stay there.
