2 pound drop and I'm now into the 150s! Just barely, but still. Celebration time! I've been good about food and exercise this week after returning from our vacation and I can tell it's made a difference. After a couple of weeks staying stable with my weight, I'm very glad for this progress.

I just returned from a week-long vacation visiting my family in Utah. I tried to eat well, but I strayed from the plan way more than I should have. Luckily the weather was gorgeous (60s and sunny during the day) so I did a lot of hiking and ran a couple of times during the week. Still, it's miraculous that I didn't gain while I was there. Time to get back with the program, which is going to take some concentration with this Easter candy around!

Finally down a pound after a week or so of holding steady. Yay!
I'm headed out of town to visit my family this week, which will be fun. It may also present a challenge health-wise. I won't officially weigh in until I get back home (so I have the same scale I've been using) but I'll be careful about food there and will be sure to go out for a run a few days. We'll be up in the mountains in Utah, and will have plenty of opportunity to hike, but food and drink are always plentiful and I will need to be extra careful.

My daughter turned 13 years old yesterday and we had a little celebration. I had a good food day until then, but allowed myself to have a birthday treat. I am now the mother of a teenager! Holy cow. We'll see how the teen years go, I suppose. She is an amazing kid, though, and I am really enjoying watching her come into her own. So far she seems like she is growing into a very capable and wonderful young woman.
Holding steady again in terms of my weight, but I'm back on track with my food. Will go for a run tomorrow morning before I head out to meetings and such.

Holding steady for a few days, which is probably to be expected after I had a rapid drop earlier in the week. I played in a soccer tournament/fundraiser yesterday and ended up playing for 90 minutes (3 20-minute games plus a half hour final match). It was a ton of running, but I felt really good. Today I'm pretty weary and a bit sore.
We went out to my favorite hippy Mexican(ish) restaurant last night after the games and I had some chips and guacamole in addition to my salad. I also had one margarita (in the past I would have had three). That was definitely more carbs and salt than I'm used to, but even with that I was at a significant calorie deficit. So, I'm not worried about holding steady for now. :)
