Not much to report: hanging steady at 155, have done ok with food despite a brief work-related trip last week. I went for a run with my friend when we were at the conference and she's in better shape than I am (and lives in Colorado, so being at sea level seemed easy to her). I pushed myself and went farther than I would have on my own, which is good. Having a mellow day today and looking forward to soccer on both Sat and Sunday this weekend.

Feeling good today. I played 90 minutes of indoor soccer last night, which was super fun, and I had over 18,000 steps yesterday. I also had a good food day. I'm glad to feel like I'm getting back on track.
Sadly, Teddy and the kids are feeling sick (headaches, slight fever, tired, some stomach aches) and that is a major bummer. I'm trying to help them and still stay healthy. We'll see.

Glad to see that I'm working my way back to pre-vacation weight.
I've had a couple of ok days in terms of food. I do really well during most of the day but I need to get a good go-to afternoon snack that is healthy and I like. Recently I've been too hungry by dinner time and end up doing things like eating chips and salsa or just having more dinner than I really need. My 13 year old daughter is also an incredible baker and she's made some special treats recently that I've had some of. I'm glad to support her and those treats certainly are delicious, but I need to be more careful.
I've done a lot of walking, which is good-- had almost 20,000 steps yesterday! My workplace just moved to a new building and yesterday, in addition to my typical dog walking, I walked to work (we live in a small town, it's less than a mile to my new office) and then was unpacking boxes for several hours. That's a lot of steps. Plus my office is on the 4th floor, so that's good for walking too. I'd like to make walking to work into my regular commute this year as much as possible.

Getting back on track this week. I played soccer last night for the first time since early June and it was so much fun! I hadn't realized how much I missed it. I also just got a little boost from my fitbit, which announced to me that I'd walked 736 miles (the length of Italy) since I started wearing it in February. So, I'm feeling better about this process today, and am off to walk the dog!
