I would like to report my weight loss but my scale is off from what my dietitians is but I but I really need help the last few days have been rough found out my 16 yr old granddaughter was date raped and now going to have a baby. I see the weight coming off since I saw her I have lost another 3# by my scale which is good. I have always been a stress eater and the night she called to talk to someone (no one knew yet) I wanted to eat and eat and eat. so I choose to eat about 5-7 pickle spears not the best but a least I did not eat things that would totally blow my diet. I am better but still fighting the desire to want to eat when I shouldn't and what I shouldn't. I have come way to far to stop now I am only under 20# to go to get to my goal. Any ideas how to stop the wanting of food PLEASE I need help!! ty in advance

today saw my DR. and the dietitian my a1c is down to 5.2 from 6.2 he said it is to low and took me off the other glimipride so one more pill down and out good deal I only lost a 1# this past month but thats ok now it is time to up the physical activity she told me this could come to a point I would have to do this and the Dr. said by taking away the pill it will also. It is ok thou 1 # is 1# next month I will do better with the #'s off. I no longer have to stay at 30 carbs per meal if I continue to eat my veggies and protein like I have been and get full on less than the total carbs to make 30 she said it is ok. I am not to force all that food myself. go glad some days hard to get enough to make 30 carbs so started to drink 8-12 oz. of milk to make the difference. felling really good and want to hit my goal hopefully by my birthday the end of march that gives me 2 1/2 months to get 18# off. I know with all the support I get here and hard work I can do this.

really having a problem trying to do what my dietitian wants me to do she told my I must have 90-110 carbs per day and 90-100 protein per day I find it hard to eat enough most times to make that amount per day I see her again on the 9th of Jan. and really don't want to get chewed out again. anyone have any suggestions how I can do both and not feel like I just ate a ton of food. She ?ed if I get tired when eating less carbs I said no I find I get tired when I eat the less I eat the better I feel the more I eat to bring up the carbs the more tired and nasty I feel. any help would be grateful

Friday night our church had there ladies Christmas Banquet and the speaker was someone who I have not seen in a very ong time they have been on the mission field until I spoke to her she did not know who I was because of the weight loss I was not sure if that was a good thing or just funny she knew it was me by my voice and later when her hubby came to pick her up I went to say hi and the look of who are u just floored me he also when found out who I was did not know by looking at me that is in it self good feeling lost enough weight no one I have know for years knew who I was. But yet it is kind of funny never happened to me before feels good.

saw my dietitian today and happy days I am under 220 it has been such a long time since I have seen these numbers. I have been having problems with eating low carb and not going to the bathroom thou. so I have to eat more foods with more soluble fibers and not just fiber in general another learning as to how to eat again but thats is ok I will only benefit for all this hard work. she did talk to me about down the road I would have to become even more active or the weight will become a stand still. don't want that I want to get healthier and off more of the many meds I take hoping for less insulin and diabetic pills to many years of take all this and I believe in some ways harming my body. also. I am so thankful for this site and all the encouraging words I hear for my self and I reads for others. One month from today I see her again and also my diabetic Dr. hope this will improve even more. getting closer to my goal thought this would never happen at my age.
