Okay. I'm back. I've noticed that in the last couple of months I have been steadily putting on weight. I've put on 5 lbs. and that is a lot for me. As a result, my clothes do not fit right and my blood pressure is higher. I have decided to make some lifestyle changes as the thought of high blood pressure and what effects it can have on my body scares me. This is the start of something permanent.

This is the first time in a while that I have added an entry. I'm optimistic that I will continue to journal throughout my weight loss journal. I am admitting that my self-esteem towards my physical appearance is low. Also, I do not want to be on blood pressure and cholesterol medication for the rest of my life. I also want to begin exercising regularly, starting tonight. I AM going walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes and listen to a book or read. I am also going to read the word tonight. My goal in life is to be a person GOD is pleased with. I want to do right by GOD, myself and others and I want to be proud of myself. Before I finish this addition, I want to note that I would like to reduce my sugar in-take. Okay, that is it for now.
