I 2 weeks into my 6 month doctor supervised weight loss prior to weight loss surgery. Are you getting sleeved or bypass? Good luck to you.

I am 2 weeks into my 6 month doctor supervised weight loss. I haven't completely decided on which surgery I want, but am leaning to RNY. I need to lose 130 lbs. 

Good luck to you guys. I took the hard route. Started at 321 and am now 202. Lost 121 lbs so far. Hoping to be finished by Christmas or my birthday in February :) 

Good luck! May you have a positive outcome. Personally, I've recently discovered don't respond well to surgery, so I'm going to tell off the endocrinologist I saw and go with the advice of an ND to eat 1400 cals a day and take adrenal glandular supplements. I figured if surgery is a trick to eat less, then I would rather eat less. So now I will be worrying about you. I've had 4 non-weight loss surgeries in the last 5 years and only one gave me a positive outcome. :( The pain after surgery will definitely work like an appetite suppressant.
