And vice versa. It is really sad how differently you are treated depending on your image. I was thin my whole life until having kids and you are definitely treated differently when you are overweight. But on the good note, I am started to feel the positive treatment again!! Good job on the margaritas. Go girl!!

Welcome back!! Congrats on holding steady on the scale. I know how hard traveling and sticking to a plan is. I've done it. It's so true about your mind not catching up with what you actually look like. My sister-in-law had that problem for a long time. She lost close to 80 lbs. and she still tried to dress like she was the bigger size. All of her clothes just swallowed her, but in her mind, she was still big. Funny how that works.

I can't wait to be able to experience what you're experiencing! My 20 year reunion is this coming May and I keep teetering back and forth on whether I want to go or not because not many have seen me since high school and I am about 2-3 times the size I was back then. It's funny how we try to "hide" when we are overweight. However, I keep trying to imagine the ultimate me and striving for that...today, now!

First of all, congrats on keeping steady through a trip--that is wickedly hard to do! You look great.
Isn't it funny how psychological the whole weight thing is? No matter what I do or accomplish in any area of my life, somewhat of my personal barometer and feelings of self-worth always go back to my weight--losing it, gaining it...whatever. And I agree-when people see me and comment about weight that I lost several years ago--it still amazes me (I can't decide their intent! Is it like, they are just waiting to see if I'd gain it all right back? Or are they just happy for me ? I am probably over-analyzing this way too much!!) Anyway, keep rolling, Rascal!
