so, tried a 19hr fast. not especially hard; was hungry this morning maybe a bit dopey in the head so started my day with bullet proof coffee and bacon . been in ketosis for a long time , ?maybe keton adapted guess i'll have to study up on that. well, at any rate , my gut had a rest with fast. sorry to say didn't feel ant euphoria are burst of energy with fast although i did wash my kitchen floor haha

Kathleen, mine did not happen immediately, I have been doing the 20:4 protocol since the 2nd week of April, the euphoria has just been occurring in the past three weeks. Great job on the 19 hour fast.

I really don't think 19 hour fasts are good for you healthy; the dopiness in the morning shows that. Two very light meals and a full meal is a good fast; that is doable for me and healthier.

im thinking i'll keep at it anyway . sure seems to be a lot of information about IF ;antiaging effects ; growthhormone stimulation ; and even how many religions have advocated fasting for thousands of years maybe there is something in it andwhat do i haveto do with my retirement time but self experiment anyway. haha
