I read something once. It was an article by Juliana Margolise (the actress). She was home alone with her son, her husband was on the road, and it was 3 in the morning, the baby wasn't sleeping, hadn't slept in days, she had to be on set at 6am, she was worried she would be to tired, look horrible, etc - she was stressed. She started to break down from it all, and then remembered something her mother had told her. Its just a moment. That life didn't "suck" but sometimes the moments are hard. This moment will pass for you, and you will be on to bigger and better moments. And don't forget, your buddies are here for you.

Thanks buddies!! I'm enjoying the virtual hugs and the sage advice from each of you. Yes ... it is just a moment Sarah ... thank you for reminding me. I had a VERY busy day and am VERY happy to be back home. In Chinese I am told that the word for "crisis" also means "opportunity." I am certain my current crises (I am an overachiever I like to have more than one crisis at a time ... LOL!!) will eventually reveal opportunities to us. Sometimes the "moments" are difficult ... but I didn't overeat!!! How cool is that?

Moose, so sorry you having this difficult "opportunity." (Love that info about that word, by the way.) And you've gotten to a point where even when things are pressing on you from all sides you're not turning to food. Not that this is all about the scale, but just goes to show how we really can change the way our brains work. Sending you strong, calm thoughts and wishes for a night of deep sleep.
