41 days to go!!

I have been very tired lately. And so, last night I wanted to snack, mostly from feeling tired more than hunger, so snack I did. However, no regrets, no remorse, and today is a new day.

Another busy day ahead so no waxing poetic this morning. But still ... a moment to ponder what I am grateful for ... it helps start the day on a positive note ...

1. the sunrise this morning was spectacular with a blanket of clouds in the sky pinking up all the colors
2. the hope of warmer weather ... it is supposed to get into the 20's today and remain there overnight (HOPE! HOPE! HOPE!)
3. health insurance ... while medical costs are still high we couldn't do this treatment without the insurance
4. the coming weekend
5. a soft velvet multi-colored shirt and jeans to wear today!

Your always talking about seeing the sunrise - what time do you get up woman?? LOL I like your countdown - I really think it helps pass the days. Good luck with everything, and hey - what was your snack last night??? Mine was a M&M covered rice krispie treat, but don't tell!!!!

Shhh ... please don't spread this around but I ate 2 ounces of BBQ flavored Eating Right Potato Crisps, then two pieces of cinammon swirl bread with a tad of butter spread upon them, and then a hundred calorie Jr. Mint bar (maybe it was 2), and then mom broke out some Jr. Mints I put in her stocking and we finished those off!!! I think I've got you beat Sarah!! Remember I live way up north so our days are short this time of year. The sun is rising as I drive to work each morning, between 6:30 and 7:00 am!! But, I'm usually up around 4:15 so I can get in my exercise first thing. If I waited until after work I would NEVER do it!! LOL!! And, then ... you must factor in the hot flashes which wake me up early anyway!! I hope you enjoyed your treat and I PROMISE ... I won't tell a soul!!

4:15!?! No wonder you appreciate the sunsets. It's dark for three hours before you see them. Lol. So funny that 20s is warmer. Everyone on the East Coast is moaning about our long cold-snap of weather in the 20s.I always snack when I'm tired. Of course you have existential tiredness going on so that's even harder to contend with. Even so it sounds like you're right on track. Junior Mints: mmmm.

Existential tiredness is right, plus you haven't been sleeping well. I am glad you continue to be kind to yourself although I'm not sure getting up at 4:15 really counts as kindness. :) I am hellaciously jealous of the velvet clothes! That sounds utterly delicious.

Oh my God I don't believe it. It must have been the day yesterday. If you look at my food journal I had junior mints and barbeque chips...Pretty weird! Have a great day! Too funny! Oh and I am ok I will post on my journal tomorrow. Thanks for being concerned.

I clearly remember the mountains covered with snow, against the blue sky. I am glad (even though it was SO Idaho) you bring those memories back to me so vividly.... I would pet you to if I were there ((hugs))

Petting the velveted Moose...this just has fairytaleyness hanging about it somehow. Good heavens, 4:15...you're amazing. And Junior Mints are drops of yum covered in choclatey goodness.

Holy cow, I just read the 4:15am comment. Boy, do I ever feel lazy for not wanting to drag myself out of bed at 6am! lol What time do you go to bed on an average night?

Perspective seems invaluable! 41 days seems like a long time when we are in the middle of it. 41 days seems like a short span when we are past that frame. Hang on. You are doing GREAT! We all look up to you so much! I know I do! Your Fat Secret about the healthy potato chips is safe with me. I won't tell a single online soul. Promise! That's three of us that ate chips yesterday. What's up with THAT? As you know - I am a 4:00 am riser too. 1. Roll out of bad -- eager to weigh in. 2. Put on the coffee. 3. Fat Secret half hour from 4:30 to 5:00 am. 4. Exercise from 5:00 to 5:30 am 5. Bath and dress from 5:30 to 6:00 am 6. Breakfast - Primping - Out-the-Door by 6:30 am! BLEESED ARE THE EARLY BIRDS - FOR WE SHALL INHERIT THE DAY!
