Was woken up this morning by a biggish quake. 5.1 in magnitude and from the original fault that started this all off! LOL

Certainly one way to wake up fast huh?

Did some baking yesterday and the eggs sunk to the bottom - makes it taste nasty! That and I made a huge mess in the kitchen LOL. Was hoping the elves would clean it up last night but nooooooooo - might have to fire them!

Fire is roaring, I feel the need for breakfast... and God is awesome!

Happy Morning to you. Sorry you are still being pestered by all that shaking. However, at least you were in bed. That way it can double for a water bed. Growing up in Southern California we had plenty of earthquakes and the only enjoyable place to ever have one was in bed. Or driving. Then it only felt like you had a flat tire and suddenly everyone is trying to pull over. What good times. But back to you. How in the heck do the eggs sink to the bottom?

I dunno but it makes the baking taste pretty crappy! LOL Yeah shakes in bed rock... excuse the pun. I was just about to growl at hubby for moving around too much when he said it was a quake! We have had one big quake in the car, in the car park thankfully. Nothing massive while driving yet. How big were your quakes? How often?

They weren't anything as big or devestating as you have had but it was common for 4. - 5. somethings. I think the biggest I recall was 7 something. Not 100% certain on that one. But most of the time they were just itty bitty ones like 3 or 4 something. Just enough to start the ground rolling.

Right after my son was born in Souther California it seemed like we had a quake every day my husband had to be at work. So I was always home alone with a newborn. I would stand at his crib wondering if the was "the big one" and should I wake him up to get somewhere safe.

Big hugs for both of you! 4's and 5's are plenty big enough! Makes me think that California isn't somewhere I want to live LOL

Thanks Bren, we can sleep through 3's and some 4's but over 5 was a bit big to sleep through. I fed my nasty baking to the birds outside - had about 40 in the trees at one stage so they are happy LOL.

Hi Squiggly! I'm sorry you were so rudely awoken by the quake! I keep hoping things will settle down for you over there. Did you maybe forget to add an ingredient when baking whatever you were baking? I'm sure the birds enjoyed their good fortune though! Take care. Sending love and hugs to you and yours!

Sounds like a nice baking experience. You all definately shake rattle and roll over there. Wish there was an anti seismic device made to stop the quakes.

Will there never be an end to this for you guys? Or at least a break? Be safe, Squiggs
