Feeling pretty awesome today, FatSecret friends!
Another pound down, another part of the old me gone for good. This makes my total so far to 47 pounds eradicated.
Things I've realized as I've been losing weight:
1: Food is not entertainment. 2: Being satisfied with a meal does not mean needing to be absolutely stuffed. 3: Exercise is unnecessary for me to lose weight, but is enjoyable on its own and has other benefits. (Dear kettlebell, sorry that we've not hung out in a few months; I've been busy with other things.) 4: The number on the scale is just a number. It's merely a single marker to go by; one should not hinge their entire success based on that (and should most certainly not throw in the towel if no change is being seen). 5: All of the weight gained was not put on in a few months, and it won't take just a few months to get rid of it, either. 6: Diets never work for the long term. Lifestyle changes do.
