Hello to the Atkins group here!
Just a bit of history. I had done Fat Smash in the past successfully but it is a bit more work keeping track of the diet. I also had done Atkins in the past but haven't tried it for probably 10 years. With the publishing of the updated version of the book, I am starting Atkins again. Atkins appeals to me now because there's a bit less work involved keeping track of calories and foods. I've lost (and kept off!) about 20 lbs but have since had a hard time breaking through the 230 barrier and staying there. My body seems to like the new weight I'm at now at it's hard to move from it. I do exercise and will be picking up the intensity again. My short term goal is the end of July. I'd love to maintain a weight loss of approximately 2-3 lbs a week but won't get excited if it doesn't happen. Either way, I'm excited about the new journey and will be hanging around again!

I took a peak at your food diary and your not losing may be a result of too low of calories I stalled at 297 lbs and had to increase my calories and am losing great now... down to 285 as of today.
