Just completed my second treadmill walk. This time I ran about 7 minutes. Pedometer reading 13757 calories burned 493.4. This was a really good workout. Need to do this more often!

Met my treadmill and elliptical challenge. Missed the pedometer though. Current reading is 9588 burned 328 calories. It's apparent that I need to do ALOT more walking. My fear though, is that I will walk in shopping malls and spend money I do not have. So guess - I will walk the treadmill tonite for another 1/2 hour. I know this will not give me the full 1000 calories, but it's an effort.
I am really happy these days. In part b/c I am doing things I really enjoy, like attending weeky bible studies, playing tennis regularly and organizing social events for our community. Who knew?

Met the treadmill challenge yesterday. Walked for an hour. Did not meet the pedometer or elliptical challenge. Pedometer reading: 7333 and burned 334 calories. Not good! Today, I am going to workout earlier, hopefully this will make the difference.
I start my tennis league next week. SOOOOOO excited! Our weekly tennis clinics start tomorrow for 1 1/2. I really want to make the most of this workout opportunity. Alhough, I am a little apprehensive about the tennis uniform. The teeney-weeny skirt thingys intimidate me. I think I will ask for a pass and wear sweat pants. At least until I can confidently wear the teeney-weeny skirt thingy. And that may be awhile. Come to think of it - this could be a great motivator. (smile)

Met the treadmill challenge yesterday. But did not make the pedometer or elliptical challenge. Pedometer reading 7222, burned 288 calories. Not good at all. Remaining optimistic that I can meet the challenges today.
