I know it is going to sound crazy, but I can *feel* the weight loss. I mean, upto now you can see that every couple of weeks I get a little plateau for about 5-6 days. And I'm reporting to you at this very moment, that I actually feel different when I'm on a downward slope with the weightloss than when it is flat.
Just an fyi -- I've been very careful to keep my diet consistent through the plateaus. I didn't want to see humps because of a chnage in diet. The lack of a smooth downward curve is solely due to my body's reaction to the diet and exercise.
Just fascinating, really. Fascinating.
Oh, by the way, I'll be losing more weight this next week. I can feel it. My body wants to lose it.

I read some posts on fitness blogs written by CrossFit trainers regarding getting 'cut'. Curious, I browsed. Anyways, they emphasized avoiding nuts for snacks while Paleo -- they didn't go into why but I suspect it is a calorie and carb thing. Many nuts actually have carbs. And carbs get stored as glycogen which the body packs with water for storage (I have a degree in genetics). When it packs the glycogen it does so on a 3:1 basis by weight. So for every pound of glycogen, you get 3 pounds of water stored. So if you eat nuts, you'll put on weight associated with the carbs (unless of course you burn the carbs before they are stored).
Anyways, I cut snacking on nuts. I only snack on other things now, if at all. And the weight just continues to fall off of me. It is crazy. I'm really at a loss. I feel satiateed everyday, all day.
