I have stepped on the scale and was very happy to see the weight come off... yeah! 3 pounds off and lets just keep it going... I went to my doctor and I am no longer on the Biggest Looser Diet. I recently had a surgical procedure and my Doctor put me on a diet where I no longer eat gluten (wheat), lactose(milk), fructose or high fructose corn syrup, and some artificial sweeteners. They also had to open up my esophagus.... so I am on this GREAT diet. :/ I get cranky with my hubby sometimes when he eats chocolate chip cookies in front of me drinking a great big glass of Mt dew...it is almost like saying...ha ha you cant eat this so I will partake in this wonderful junk food. I have actually lost my cravings for the junk but not my desire for them..if that makes any sense. So I decided to visit a health food store thinking they would help me with making healthy choices and give me nice food selections for cooking.... no, I was pointed to the gluten free cookies and chips isle.... "What!!!" That stuff may be gluten, and lactose free but not calorie free. I am now left with researching on the internet looking for some recipes to use and so far so good. The Vegan recipes seem to be the better ones that help the most. Wish me luck and I secretly feed these prepared meals to my family without telling them they are eating healthy. :)
