Day 49
Weigh day tomorrow 😬
I know I have had a real shite week with my diet and not being able to go to the gym as much as I have been but we all blip sometimes, and mine has been this week.
So tonight I went swimming and it felt really good. I managed to do 850m which for me is really good. I can already feel my muscles aching. Got the gym booked in for tomorrow, day off Sunday and then body balance on Monday.
Meal plan today
Breakfast - kind salted caramel bar and banana
Lunch - steak slice, monster munch and a bounty
Dinner - Nando’s 🤦🏽♀️ butterfly chicken, spicy rice and fries.

Day 48
Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA lately, I’ve been so busy, meal plan has gone out of the window at the moment. I ate KFC for lunch today and felt shit after. Did body balance tonight at the gym but couldn’t work my absolute hardest as shin splints are still killing me.
To top it off my thighs are on fire. I did about 40 lunges the other day and I’ve struggled to walk up the stairs since, can barely stand from a sitting position but I felt so good whilst doing it.
Bloody annoying isn’t it. The endorphins are amazing at the time but when you struggle for days is what makes it the killer.
So no meal plan again today as it was basically granola and KFC bucket. Naughty naughty.

Day 46 of my jelly belly journey
Sorry for my lack of posting.
Shin splints are a biatch
Sorry, I know I have spoken about these before but Jesus bloody Christ.
I’ve been suffering for a week now, I spoke to my husband tonight and said I really think I need compression socks. He goes up stairs and brings me a pair down. Seriously!!! Where the bloody hell has he been hiding them and why!! Did he not give them to me a week ago 🤦🏽♀️ gotta love him though. No one else will 🤣
Meal plan
Breakfast - granola, banana, skyr yoghurt
Lunch - hoisin duck wrap
Dinner - chicken shish kebab, salad and a handful of fries
Snack - twirl
Hasn’t been a good day good wise but I’m eating healthy all the other times so it’s fine to have a blip every now and again.
Gonna wear my compression socks to work tomorrow and fingers crossed they help me with all the walking

Day 44
I decided to go to Aquafit this morning to give my shins a little break.
I loved it, so I am now booked in for the next two weeks again. It’s awesome. You don’t actually feel like you are doing a workout until you get out of the water and it hits you.
Spent the afternoon wallpapering the sitting room. It feels so nice and fresh. Fancied a change and really glad I did it.
Meal plan
Breakfast - weetabix and honey
Snack - sweet chili rice crackers
Lunch - cheese sandwich on wholemeal seeded bread, cheese and onion crisps
Dinner - chicken noodles
Snack - banana and orange

Day 43
I’ve been a bit slack the last few days
I’ve not been to the gym as I have shin splints from jogging in the wrong trainers and now my leg is super sore even to walk on.
It was weigh day today and lost another 0.6kg. Something is better than nothing I guess so happy with that.
No meal plan again today as it was 1) hasn’t gone too well 2) was mine and hubbies anniversary and 3) I’ve eaten like shit.
I might have a rest day tomorrow as well and let my leg ease before I get back to the gym on Monday. But, I will see how I feel in the morning before I set anything in stone.
