Hello everyone! So, I made a promise to myself that this year I will be putting my health and wellness first. Not just physical health, but mental and emotional health too. Like most of you, a lot of life has happened... sidetracking me from keeping the focus on balancing my overall wellness with things going on day to day. Right now, I am 31 years old, and a mom of 4 (two boys and two girls😍), and step-mom of two boys😍. I'm also a dog mom of two, a bird mom of two, and a cat mom of 1!🐶😹🐦 also throw a fish in there somewhere and you have my crazy family 🐟 My husband and I have been married since 09 and we all live together happily (and anxiously) in a 900 sq. ft house!!!🏡
As you can imagine, my life stays busy every single day, and the last 10 years or so I've let that get the better of me.... losing touch with myself and my overall wellness. For now, I am 196 lbs., and my overall goal this year is to lose 40 lbs. and I believe I can do it! in 2017 I reached the heaviest weight I'd ever been in my life, 220 lbs. while 9 months pregnant with my youngest! for a girl whose 5'4, that took a toll on me. I've since lost the pregnancy weight but would like to lose the rest! I want to feel better about myself and look better too. I know it's going to take a long time, but I will keep my focus on celebrating the small changes I will make towards successful, healthy habits! I also hope to identify when I'm failing and hold myself accountable for my thoughts, feelings and actions. I think this forum will help me do just that! I truly hope that we can support each other together on our journeys towards better health and fitness. Let's do this thing. 💪
