Saturday. Happy 21st anniversary I think but 22nd says my husband. Every year I can't remember if we got married in 1990 or 1991!!! Our "real" anniversary is October 1, 1987. That is when we first met. We've been "together" since that first meeting and it is an easy date to remember because it was my in-laws wedding anniversary.
I THOUGHT we were staying home this weekend but unbeknownest to me hubby had plans of garage saling today. So we got up, went out to breakfast and cruised around town. Actually had a very nice time. The weather was GORGEOUS today ... in the 60's with intermittent sunshine, partly cloudly skies and not one raindrop. Rumor has we might be 79 by Monday but I am not holding my breath. We found little things. I found a "round the house" sweatshirt for 50 cents, hub got 2 shirts for a buck, found some baseball cards, a few china tea cups, a couple of books and a few other assorted odds and ends. Also found a nice set of kids books for my best friend to use in her counseling practice. So ... all in all a good day.
We have steaks and veggies to grill on the BBQ later and I am splurging with a Miller 64. Might even go crazy and have 2!! Who knows. The night is young.
Not too excited about a mere 4 tenths of a lb weight loss over the past week but I had such a dramatic drop from the beginning of April I guess it is to be expected. What matters most though is I feel better. Better eating more sanely. Better with exercising regularly.
So I am off to mix up some marinade for the veggies. We bought a new fangled pan that we can use right on the BBQ for veggies. Sort of like a wok with holes in it. I'm anxious to see how the veggies turn out.
