I did it. I weighed in this morning. Even before I read my latest journal comments encouraging me to do so. I knew I had gained. No surprises. Before I stepped on I guessed I was at 220. I was 221.2. Guess that means I DO know my body. That is a 20 lb gain in about a month. Now that is impressive. If only I could lose it that fast.
Protein is my plan for the week. And exercise. And lots of water. That should at least flush all the crap from my system, get rid of the sugar, put me back on track. Plus ... with protein I can use it as a snack if I am hungry or get the munchies.
I appreciate the encouragement. There are no good excuses. I did this. Nobody forced me. While the stress, hormones, lack of sleep all that stuff certainly make it more challenging I've been through worse and have done better.
So I am just dusting myself off and continuing on with the journey. Will make sure I pick comfortable clothing to wear and find the positives to focus on ... like ... I have not gained ALL my weight back!!!
