And so it is Monday ... and I am having the not so very exciting experience of sitting in a data training ALL DAY for a new data system my organization is adopting sometime in the not so distant future. That meant arriving to work early so I could pick up fellow commuters and driving an hour + to another city where the training is located. Can you tell that I'm not very good at sitting through trainings? LOL!!
The weekend came and went much too quickly. The good news was that Bob and I went to Costco and picked up a bike excercise machine that mom wanted, brought it home, and then assembled it with actually minor cussing and gnashing of teeth!! The exercise bike is very nice ... I did 45 minutes on it yesterday and really enjoyed it. The bad news is I had another migraine ... but it wasn't too bad (the medication worked fairly well) and I just kept moving. We watched the entire second season of Sons of Anarchy ... which was fun. Oh yeah, I made an awesome pot of chicken vegetable soup for dinner last night.
My five for today ...
1. Internet access at the training 2. decent sleep through the weekend 3. remaining "in my range" 4. a delicious breakfast out with my hubby on Saturday 5. counting down to mom's vacation with her (she leaves for 2 weeks with her sister on February 12th)
And so I will do my best to adopt a positive attitude and get through today and tomorrow ...

I always hate that stuff. I can't learn anything by sitting there and listening anyway, I have to actually DO it. Oh well, hopefully you will be done with it today, and that will be it. Have a good one buddy!!

I hate training too. I have an awful hard time sitting still for it especially is the presenter is boring. Sorry you had another migrane.Sounds like you might want that bike. 45 minutes is great. You are so right about the weekends they go way too fast. I need another one already. lol

**yawn, grab a good cup of joe! I hate those trainings. I hope its a little more hands on. Kudos on the new bike, it will be fun to switch your machines now and then. You have and elliptical right? Never did like those machines though, I do treadmill and stairmaster mostly. We all have our preferences.

oooh oooh oooh the seat is really BIG!!! On the bike that is!! It's one of those recumbent bikes ... did I say that right? Yes, Cindy I do have an elliptical. There isn't even any coffee here ... what is up with that??? I do like a treadmill but don't have one at home and no gym time for me ... boo hoo!!! I have used a stairmaster before and really liked it but the elliptical is easier on my mom's replaced knees.

I'm glad I don't have to be trained on new systems or be 'developed' any more. I always found it difficult to stop myself nodding off. The warm air, the droning of the voices and the sitting still in one place were torture to me!

It helps if you have a computer in front of you and you can be on facebook or fatsecret!!! LOL!!! Personally I'm pretty sure I'm over-developed at this point!!
