Weigh-in day and I managed to squeeze off 1/2 a pound.I may not be the biggest loser,but I am definitely the slowest.LOL

I have been doing some reading about how the body has a set point for weight.The way I understand it,when you lose a certain percent of your weight,the body says stop,sets that weight and tries to hold it no matter what you do.Could this be why people stall after losing say 10-20 percent of their weigh?I'm going to do some more research and hopefully I can lower my set-point.

Sunny and nice here.Upper 50's,maybe even 60 today.Going for a walk later for sure..

Hi Nonna, Just passing by and visiting your journal. I love your new pic! I am at my 1/2 way mark, but lost slow as a tortoise this last year. I don't mind, it's all in the right direction, downward... I had noticed the closer I got to the 1/2 mark, that I stalled alot. I feel that things began to move along again after October and my energy is up again. Happy loses to you! Cheryl from CA

Nonna - Sorry I missed you yesterday. If my body has a "Set Point" I've never reached it - the more I eat the more I gain!
