Drat. I was half way through a journal entry and it disappeared.

I really don't feel like doing it again. Suffice it to say I'm fine and continuing on with life.

Grateful ....

1. Being able to not even taste the cake and cupcakes that were in front of me yesterday at a luncheon (but oh the smell!!!!)

2. Having an "aha moment" where I realized when I am tired and/or stressed about something (particularly conflict) that something in my brain clicks on and says "feed me! feed me! feed me!" even when I am not physically hungry.

3. No snow on the ground this morning although it was predicted in the weather forecast.

4. Finishing 2 reports yesterday (still behind but making progress!!)

5. Lipgloss.

This is day 11 (?) of my revised way of eating and it seems to be agreeing with me. Weight flucted up a tad today (204.8) but that happens. This silly sausage tried to put on a pair of pants this morning that are no where close to fitting (maybe in 10 more lbs?) and handled it pretty much in stride. No worries.

I am a successful business woman and entrepreneur. I am an expert in my field and people pay me for my expertise. I earn $100,000 a year. I am organized and efficient. I plan well and follow through with my plans. I manage our finances well. Our wood shed is full. Our dental needs are met. I have money saved for a vacation in February 2012. I listen carefully to my body's cues and provide it with nourishment which results in my body being able to shed excess fat and pounds efficiently. I like myself!! I love my body!! I am kind to myself. I take care of myself. I am patient. I am persistent. I am responsible. I am determined.

Well, back to work. Have a wonderful day and take care of yourselves!!

I hate when I lose a journal!! I missed me yesterday too- the only thing I can think of is PMS took hold of my brain and forced me to eat chocolate : (. I hope you have a fabulous day- you are doing fantastic!!

Carol, you are doing amazing!! Congrats on avoiding those cupcakes and cake, and for the AHA moment...my brain does the same thing! And even though I KNOW that's what it's doing I still listen to it from time to time...is that what is known as insanity...doing the same thing and expecting a different result? SIGH...if so then, yes, I AM INSANE!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! They're coming to take me away, haha, to the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time.....hugs, my wonderful, smart, funny, successful, 50 something friend!
