I remember last summer when I finally got into my size 12's and how good it felt. Well, here it is 3 months later and I's still wearing the same size 12's and it doesn't feel so good anymore.

The funny thing is that I only have to make a couple of small changes to get the (weight loss) ball rolling again. Somebody please kick me in the butt!

Yes, sometimes it is hard to stay motivated. I am going for a walk in an hour or so... just do what you have to do for you and eat healthy too in the process...

GG - Portion Control (especially on the higher carb stuff), eating about 100 cals less each day, and, of course more exercise. This isn't rocket science - I know what to do - just got to do it.

Buffy - consider yourself being kicked in the butt :) Don't know why, I'd be very happy with size 12, I'm happy that my size 14 are comfortable. Don't be so hard on yourself, give yourself some breathing room, relax !

Buffy girl....you can and will do this.....consider this a kick in the butt....and yes gg made you think.....look back on your diet calendar to see where you can make a few adjustments.....you have done this. :)

The food for me is the easiest. The exercise not so much. You'll get it all straightened out and be in a size 10 before you know it.

Buffy - when I was a size 16 - I distinctly remember telling my daughter..."what I wouldn't give to be a size 6!" Now, here I am a size 8 ...and with all the 'head' knowledge I have - I am still not there yet!!! I feel like I have wasted nearly a year - DON'T let that happen to you!!! If you really want this...SET your goals in STONE, and work your little butt off and DO IT! (I'm kinda talking me here, but you can take my advice too if you want! :)

Buffy, I don't think that it helps nowing winter is around the corner. I don't know what your weather has been like but I know for me it sure sets my mood and motivation. You are a fighter and you have this nailed, you will dust off and move forward! Just think, you have one more sleep then you can get started. Keep me posted.

Come on Buffy - we can do this - I want to get my weight down a bit for November, as damage control for December - we can do this.....do you want me to get my whip out....I'm already wearing my long black boots today!! lol!!

Go Buffy. We can do this. I'd be happy with size 12s too, but I understand how you feel. Just keep going and think how good you'll look in the Spring, when it's time to remove the layers.

Karen - You are right - the food part is so much easier than the exercise. Wish the excuses (not to exercise) were harder to come by.

Tracy - Hello to my old partner in "no excuses allowed". I know we travel different roads but we can work together in spirit.

Helewis - Thanks for the vision I need. In the winter we can cover up with layers - but no way should we be looking bulky in the spring.
