Yesterday's oatmeal with almonds didn't make it past mid morning so today I am going for more protein. This will definitely be an experiment until i see what will keep me full for the morning.

Actually you would be surprised but fat keeps us full the longest - add butter to your oatmeal or melt in some coconut oil?

Cool ideas. Gwen Shamblin, dietician and founder of Weigh Down Workshop says: "Dieting causes a worry over nutrients. Dieting is not the answer. This is not a food issue, but rather a volume problem and a desire problem." She encourages clients to eat when the stomache is empty and stop when it starts to feel comfortably satisfied. Hope this helps.
