I am really worried the rest of this weight will never come off. More than that I am worried I will gain every bit back.

You will get there. For me the past 6 weeks have been hard, maybe even 8 weeks. The scales just seem stuck. I am getting back on tract mentally and emotionally and the scales are starting back down. I was averaging 2.2 when I first started, got down to 1.4, but as of last week back up to 1.6#/week. They say the closer to your goal the weight will come off slower. Just be diligent and din't give up!

You will only gain back every bit of weight you have lost if you return to your old eating and activity habits. It is that simple. You are not "destined" to be fat. It is pretty much guaranteed ... over time ... that if you indulge too often and/or fail to move your body in exercise that you will gain it back. Sorry to be frank but it is the truth. I have done it so many times. As for losing more weight ... time will tell. No doubt it will not come off as quickly as it has since you started. You may never weigh the 135 lbs you did when you married but that doesn't mean you might not still wear the same size you did. Our bodies do change over the years. You are not the same young thing you were then. You might actually have more muscle. You've had 4 babies ... give yourself a little break!! I believe that if you are eating well and exercising adequately that our bodies will find a "set point" and that is pretty much where they want to stay unless we push them one way or the other. Your body is still adjusting to changes from the 50+ lbs you have lost since late Fall. It may naturally want to add the pounds still ... which is why continuing on a healthy journey is so important. You might also plateau ... for quite a while ... like weeks ... before your body is ready to shift again. I know how difficult it is but do try to be patient with yourself and focus on your self-talk. Be kind to yourself, be positive, trust God, and re-examine what it might mean if indeed you did stay at 170 lbs ... you look fantastic and I know you feel good too, physically ... except for TOM. Hope I didn't overwhelm you!!! Take care of yourself ... I'm right here with you!!!
