Good day today both weather and calorie intake. Hope this will make up for my indiscretions when we went shopping on Friday. Caraml macchiato and cinnamon whirl are not exactly on my diet list but boy did they taste good. Managed to get a dress, new trainers, couple of shirts for OH all from a shop that was closing down next week so the prices were rock bottom. Its funny how one person's misfortune is anothers gain. I felt guilty knowing those working in the shop would be unemployed next week. The trip took all day and Saturday was spent chilling and recovering.
Walking was good today in the sun. Wind was a bit chilly and I was glad I started out in my jacket, but soon had to take it off as I warmed up. Skylarks were singing really high up in the sky and the lambs and pigs were skipping and playing in the fields. The piglets are really comical to watch. Ollie is very curious and doesn't know what to make of them but as soon as they squeal he's hiding behind my legs - what a woos. We had a pheasant for company stalking along behind us squawking at us to get off his territory and all the ducks and swans were out on the loch bottoms bobbing up and down in the air.
Simon scale hasn't moved even a fraction, but what can I expect after Friday?
