Happy Valentine's Day!!!

My name wasn't called last night. Boo!!! Tonight they are drawing one name for a trip to Hawaii with $2500 cash!! Slim chance they will call me but if I am not there I cannot win so that is where I am going after work tonight. Kind of wish I could send a substitute ... I am tired. Oh well, Happy Valentine's Day!!! LOL!!!

The weekends pass much too quickly. That is all I have to say about that.

I think we are down to 25 days to Mexico. Hubby has been watching videos on youtube of the resort we will be staying at, Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas

I am trying to decide which Pilates routine to do this morning. Ten minutes? 30 minutes? The long 50 minute DVD? Crawl back into bed? Oh that's right ... work.

Yet even in my tired mind and body I am grateful ...

1. for my choices to eat more reasonably as of late and finally seeing the scale creep back down

2. for buddies who take the time to check in with me and think of me kindly

3. for a little sunshine this weekend ... even if it comes with melting snow and ice it was nice to see!!!

4. for MGD64 ... it isn't the classiest beer but a nice option when I am trying to watch calories!!!

5. knowing I will NOT be tempted by chocolate today!!!

Whether or not there is a "sweetheart" in your life you are each special, precious, and loved!!! Celebrate!!!

Happy Valentine's to you too. My day started with my 3 year old wishing his mommy "Happy Halloween Day". Then my 9 year old tells his dad, did you wish Mommy a Happy Valentine's to which Brad responds "son, Valentine's is just a day created by companies to take your money"....Yea hubby is a real romantic at heart! I keep telling myself 1/3 men trained well is better than 0. My 9 year old spent all last night carefully selecting Valentine's for his friends. He also purchased through our Student Council special valentine deliveries for his little sweetheart and his teachers. He and Miss Hannah have been together since 2nd grade and gone to school since PreK together. Hannah is a bit more boy crazy than Nathan is girl crazy right now. Her dad told me at the 4-H meeting she has been looking for a gift for Nathan for the past 3 weeks at every store they go to. Oh puppy love...

Hi Moose, and you are so right about food. I guess I got WAY over confident and thought I could just eat and it wouldn't catch up. HA! I found I cannot "assume" it will not catch up, cause it does and.....it did! And I should know better. But I am really trying today. Made a nice, very low calorie, dessert for after dinner tonight. Did not lick the spoon :-) Evenings are my enemy. I have to remember this and stay away from the stuff after my "scheduled" dessert. Snacking is out of the question. Schedule, plan, and stick to it. I appreciate your coming by and boosting my morale :-)
