I am excited to be back on FS!
I spent the first week of Oct in Cancun with my family. I told myself that I would go ahead and eat whatever I wanted while on vacation, I just compensated by increasing my activity level - swimming daily and walking on the treadmill for 45 minutes daily. I did great! It's a super nice resort - and I could not pass up the fresh fruit and all the special dishes. I mostly ate lots of veggies, fruit, fish, healthy proteins and some starches from bread/tortillas. At frist, I was intimidated to weigh myself - so avoided the scale when I first returned home. LOL
Anyway, I had a whirlwind of activity with my birthday festivities, family and work stuff -- but I jumped back in to my healthy routine right away. I did gain a few lbs due to water-weight with my period, but since "Aunt Flo" has left everything is going great. I am following the plan to a T and excercising regularly. I've lost the "stray" lbs from vacation and water-weight and I'm doing GREAT!! It's nice to be back on FS!
