GD1 has had her hip operation today so I've been like a cat on hot bricks. It took 5 hours and the waiting has been interminable. She's been having one to one nursing, is feeling sick from the anaesthetic but is doing fine. She will be sent home to her Mums in about a week. My poor daughter - she's only just got me out of the bed! Eating has not been too good today. Must start recording what I eat again.
