The plateau remains--uncombated!

All the usual, worked out for 30 mins in the am, good breakfast, lunch, and dinner was out in a restaurant, but skipped drinks, and had 1 entree--unavoidable--but may not help actually lose the weight. I was reading all the helpful comments from before, and I guess I need to do something different to shake off this plateau. Tomorrow won't be it though, as I have to go to a winetaasting (probably spit it all, but if it's really good, I may actually have to drink a bit :( (woe is me ;))

I don't know...maybe tomrorow morning's workout should be serious--including weight-lifting, and maybe that'll combat some of the evening points.

Meals for today:
Breakfast: Kashi go lean cereal with skim milk (3)
coffee with cream (2 cups, 1 point)
Lunch: Whole wheat pasta with veggies (5?)
Snack: 1 apple (1)
1 pc.chocolate (2?)
Dinner: 1 Veggie Boxty (Irish Pancake--potatoes and cream sauce): (10-15?)
With max points, I'm still at 27 points, so not bad!!

Not bad at all! I admire your discipline to workout in the morning. Sure, kick it up a notch if you have time to extend it, or add a nightime session if you can. Your whole-grain, high fiber, with fruit and veggies sounds great. I LOVE Boxty (Boxties?) Yum! Don't lose hope!!!

Plateaus SUCK! They have been the demise of my efforts in the past so I know how strong their pull can be to suck the motivation right out of you.... like a black hole! But don't give up! I busted out of my 2 week plateau in January by dropping my daily points to 20 Monday through Thursday and then upping them normal to high on Friday through Sunday. It worked so well that I have kept it up ever since and have had steady weight losses every week since. Maybe something similar would work for you. Keep at it and something will have to give! Have a Thrilling Thursday!
