Images from Mexico ... April 2010

Beach side relaxation!!

Dinner at La Bodeguita del Medio on my birthday consisted of fried plantains, shrimp in a delicious orange sauce, and rice made with beer!!

When we got back to Spokane at the end of our vacation they upgraded us to a poolside suite!! This was our own private swimming pool adjacent to our room!! What a way to end a vacation!!

I had trouble getting these photos on ... I had more but I'm not patient enough to stay with it!! I hope this gives all of you a flavor of my wonderful tropical vacation in Mexico!!!

Is that a tattoo I see on your sholder there??? I can't tell what its of, but I've been thinking of getting one there soon too - just have to decide on what I want. Anyway, your pictures look amazing, and you birthday dinner looked great!! Glad you guys had such a great time - you deserve it!!!!

uh huh ... that is a tattoo you spy on my right shoulder. I designed it with a little help from my husband and a renowned tattoo artist named Igor who used to live in San Francisco, California. Last I heard he is now in Hawaii!! It started off being a phoenix surrounded by rays of sun and then I enclosed it in a dream catcher with an eagle's claw holding a diamond (my birthstone and the month we married) attached and a feather which has three dates in it, when I received by B.S., my M.A., and the year I was first licensed as a therapist. Only problem with it being on my back? I don't see it often!! LOL!! I sort of forget it is there!!

Thats AWESOME! Love the vacation feeling like Amryk says we get from just your journal pics. It all looks so lovely, the food -YUM! That tattoo! Wow, been holding out huh? I have 3, and I too rarely speak of them, and have them in places I forget of them too. Thats a really cool story behind it, and special that you put extra thought into it and designed it. Way cool. And MORE coolness, the upgrade at the last place. You are full of good! Keep SHINING!
