Almost forgot, yesterday was the start of my fifth year of being a brain cancer survivor and sometimes Thriver!
Yea me!, i have never given up.The beast still lives inside of me. Never Will I give in, i keep fighting every single day.
I weighed in at 231.4 pounds. Not bad for a 0 cal restriction I've been eating well staying on modified Atkins diet. Health is been variable but the new medicine does help when I take it. I had to mix up my schedule from flying to California and back to Florida. I forgot that I have an MRI at my new brain tumor Center in Santa Monica. So I had to make a flight back early and luckily I was able to use to Southwest coupons to pay for the flight as I am pretty tapped right now. Emotionally I've been doing OK, as I think I'm getting a handle on the domestic situation, and making slow progress there. Sometimes I just break and I can't handle it anymore but it seems easier to climb back up and suck in the air. I'm becoming more social and working on myself, giving myself opportunities to do what I like to do, having lunches seeing old friends just being. Don't know where this is going to end up but I do know that I'm going to be with my son, nothing will drive me away from him, I will be living with him and his mother giving him the life that he deserves helping him grow into the man that he can be. That is the prime directive, secondary directive is me being healthy and "happy".
