My weekly weigh day and I only lost a quarter of a pound. I was naughty yesterday and visited a pub at lunchtime where they serve the most delicious chips for miles around. I planned this naughty meal but at least I did not succumb to a lunchtime ale. Still a few weeks left for me to lose a bit more before my holiday to Ireland . It's in the right direction, that's the main thing. We need to stop thinking in terms of naughty or bad foods and think of them in terms of occasional foods. There really is no such thing as a bad food, only a bad diet or one that doesn't suit our goals. For the majority of us, a few chips now and then isn't going to be a catastrophe and if we enjoy the meal, then that's surely a good thing as it will satisfy more than just our hunger.
