Slow and steady will get me there. The weight isn't going down as fast as I thought, but a couple lbs a week is better than nothing :)

Nice drop! Pat yourself on the back! Research supports l to 2 lbs weight loss a week is the healthiest way to lose. Most of us drop rather quickly at first, and then it slows down.

Howdy...Can I ask you (and I assure you I ask very gently and sincerely) would you take even a 1 lb. loss for the next 75 weeks?...I think most of us on here probably would. May ALL of us find the determination and the patience to "keep on keeping on."

As much as probably all of us would like the weight to just drop off quickly, it just doesn't happen like that and losing too fast isn't good. 2 lbs a week is a very healthy loss, shows your working hard, and is more sustainable in the long run. So great job!

PERFECT! Its so frustrating when you are working so hard at it. But like the other posters said slow and steady is the only way to keep it off and do it healthy and think long term :)

2lbs a week adds up in hurry. You can do it just keep pluggin away. I didn't look at your profile, just saw your post, so I don't know your specifics. That said, my doc is trying to get me to back off even the 2lbs / week. She says it is too dramatic a change. Regardless you CAN do this. Just keep on going. Don't let the minor setbacks and disappointments dissolve your resolve.

That's Great! 2 lbs is great! PLEASE DON'T THINK OTHERWISE. I slowed to a halt for 3 weeks stayed at the same weight until 1.5 pounds finally came off....I danced for days! You are fighting nature and nature wants to win...that 2 lbs is a major victory!

2 lbs. per week is considered to be super fast weight loss. (anything faster is actually very bad for your body) Great job so far!
