I'm bouncing around in the 170's now ... up another tad to 177.8 this morning but I think it might be salt ... I ate pretzels last night (~:

It's nice to look at the big picture when things slow down. You have had an amazing journey! And yes, losing weight doesn't solve all of life's problems, but good health and treating yourself with care sure makes life more pleasant and manageable!

Wow! 2.8 pounds to go! You have made awesome progress. I understand the "if only" thinking. I used to be an "if only" thinker too. I had plans in my head - and even on paper - but I used weight loss as a reason NOT to start these plans. My mode of thinking was "I'll do such and such AFTER I lose weight." I used being overweight as an excuse not to go out, not to take a class, not to live. That fact is so sad. Congratulations on your wonderful success! Thanks for being patient with my during my absence from your journals!

Poet ... exactly. I did the same. Have you been absent? No worries!!! Real life sometimes interferes in our cyber life!! LOL!!! I hope all is well with you ... and congratulations on your success as well!!! We are all successful ... and learning how to live healthily with food.
