YAWN!! BRRR!!! OUCH.
Tired. Cold. Head hurts this am. Actually felt like I slept pretty soundly. Coffee is on the stove, fire started, and pill taken for head so all should be well here soon! Down to 51 in the house again today. Beautiful blue skies yesterday but oh so chilly!!!
Stepped on the scale and looks like I did well getting through my concert weekend. Just a small loss but that's okay. DH had a follow up with his cardiologist yesterday. Looks like the pericarditis has resolved. Echocardiogram and EKG looked good. He can wean off the meds! Doc is concerned about the mass in his lung though. That's the next stressful thing. The hardest part for me is dealing with DH's reaction to doctors and medical recommendations. Working to make sure I don't react to his reactions. It's just his process. And ultimately it is his decision what he chooses to do with his body.
For me reigning myself back into "this moment," "now" is a full time job!!! My mind flits all over the place and none of them are helpful. Tomorrow is an illusion. Yesterday is gone. Today. Today. Today. Breathing is important too. And finding a place I can name my own stuff and be heard.
Work is just this side of insane these days. Once again I find myself very behind. Thanksgiving is sneaking up on me. Must order fresh turkey. Must get in touch with youngest son to see if he's coming. Dang. Must clean the house? When might I do that?
Well for now, in this moment I must have coffee, must then shower and get ready for my day which starts early today at 7 am! Must be kind. Must breathe. Must wish all my fatsecret visitors well. Take care!
