The second day in a row I've gained on less than 900 calories. I had less than 4.5 oz of fresh pineapple, but did not measure the roast beef with gravy but didn't have any potatoes, rice, or cauliflower to put it on so guessed at the amount. I measured everything else. The salad dressing tablespoons were rounded so I even gave it calories for 3 instead of 2 and only came up with 881 calories for the day. I measured the fresh asparagus and red onion I had in the eggs. My salad was humongous but was only iceberg lettuce with 3 or 4 little cherry tomatoes. The only difference I see is that the last 3 days I haven't been jogging on my little rebounder since my TV is out and I've been so busy blanching and cutting vegetables to dehydrate plus fixing strawberries for the freezer. I've only been gently jogging for 10 minutes a day so I wouldn't think that would make much difference. Standing in the kitchen working on my produce is more active than just sitting, however, after about 10 to 20 minutes I often have to go sit with pillows arching my back to get relief from the pain in my upper back. I broke it several years back helping my husband when he collapsed. That has nothing to do with the lower fractures of L5 that I was born with that never healed or my now bulging discs. Those give me fits too especially when I sit too much. I guess I'll have to freeze the fresh pineapple too if it's affecting my weight. There's no way it would be healthy to lower my calories. I'll just have to stay with the healthiest of foods and get back on the rebounder. I hate to take a walk because of sciatica hurting my leg. Thank you, Lord I can still do my own grocery shopping, cooking, dishes, and laundry even if I have to take breaks. I don't do a good job of house cleaning but am grateful for what I have and do. I can live with it and am satisfied to accept these things and am grateful to be independent.

You know Snowwhite, sometimes, if you're eating too few calories, your body goes into starvation more and holds on to that weight. You might try going back to the number of calories you usually eat when you're losing weight for a couple of weeks to see if that works for you. So sorry about your back, take care of yourself. 💛

You are right fewer calories would not be healthy. It is so frustrating when you're doing everything right with no reward. Hopefully you will drop all at once.

thats not enough calories. also keep in mind muscle weighs more then fat. so you may lost fat but gained muscle. sometimes our body changes but the scale doesnt ☺ you got this!

I agree with the others that it’s not enough calories. I owned a nutrition center and would never suggest less than 1200. I’ve also struggled with this myself. Recently I’ve added calories and lost weight. Increasing my protein intake is the main reason I lost with eating more. My body needed it

I agree, increase protein and also pineapple has a very high glycemic index - very sugary, so maybe not the best choice.

Sorry you're in pain. I definitely relate to back problems. I find I lose when I vary calorie intake daily. When I take in same amount daily I either stall or gain...just a thought.

More protein is the answer. Plus it will keep you full.
