Starting to get really frustrated. Husband comes home for a few days and we end up eating out one of the days sometimes 2 and it screws everything up. I think I would be down at least 5-6 more pounds if that wasn't happening. He is leaving sunday again for about 10days so I SHOULD be able to get down a few more "fingers crossed" I'm doing good and keeping it off. The 2lb yo yo system is not working for me tho. I'm not a fan of yo yo's.....

Okay, take a deep breath. Find out what the restaurant is serving, before going there and choose a healthy meal. You can do this...we are here for you. I am going out to eat Sunday, for Mom's birthday, she will be 78. She has picked an Italian Restaurant. I went online for the menu, and I now know the different choices I can make to stick to my life long eating habits. You are worth it....Good Luck!

Angie is right and has great advice. Whenever i am out with my family i have to eat out. It sucks, but sometimes you have to make the best of it. So i usually plan ahead, too. One time, brought a chicken sandwich from home into denny's... the waitress was probably thinking "what the hell?" But i had it in case we didnt stop to eat at all. And sometimes, I just get tired of always ordering a 'salad' everywhere i go. lol

That is great advice from both Angie and Girlygirl. Another thing to do is since portions are always 4 - 5 times too big, have a "half order" or "lunch portion", then ask them to put half of that in a to go container right away. If you don't see it on your plate, you are less likely to eat it.
