What a day yesterday ended up being. Had to run to town to trade medications at the Vet's for our senior dobie, turns out her ALT liver count is high and the meds they gave us could make it worse. Did a couple of other errands then back home. My husband decided he wasn't feeling better, in fact a little worse, so back down the hill we went, the 20 miles to town to visit the emergency room. Turns out he had appendicitis!! They called in the surgeon and out it came. All went well, it had not burst, so for that I am thankful. I didn't make it back home until almost midnight though, and then didn't sleep very well. Most likely will not exercise this morning since I'm anxious to get to town to see how he is doing. Whew ... what a weekend!!
