Boom !! I’m back !! Well a week can be a very long time in weight loss  2.3kg lost in the past week (see pic).
After being in tears last week (I joke, I don’t cry. Last time I cried was Scott and Charlenes wedding – Damm that Angry Anderson music !), I am much happier this week !!
So how did I achieve such a great (well I think it’s great after many weeks of gains) result in just one week I hear you ask ? Exercise ? No, we are not that desperate just yet. Stopped the medication ? No, would like to, but I doubt that’s an option. Gave up the beers ? Don’t you blaspheme !!
Ok, well actually I don’t think I actually had any beers this week, so that part is true, and I did eat pretty well all week. And if I’m honest cutting out a box of tv snacks and a 6 pack of hot crossed buns probably made a bit of difference. Really the only think I changed was instead of snacking on a bit of wholegrain bread in the afternoon, I changed to an apple. How pathetic is my daily food. Luckily (for me I suppose) I am not much of a food person. I can happily eat the same thing every day and not be bored. Fancy restaurant dinners, while nice, don’t really do much for me. I eat basically to stay alive, not quite so much for taste.
So, last week I emailed my brother and basically admitted defeat, but I am going to have a red hot go at completing the challenge. I am sure I can be 80kg by the end of June !!! I might leave it a few more weeks before I inform my brother of the change of heart.Just in case I fall back off the wagon.

This is the actual email I sent my Brother last Thursday (23/4/20)

Dear person who rented the same womb as me,
I am on the verge of conceding defeat. I blame the high blood pressure medication !
Since I’ve been taking it (and eating basically the same) I have put on over 3kg, when I should have just about lost that amount !!!
It’s not impossible from here, but it’s highly unlikely. Whilst I have done it before, I doubt I could do it again. I’m weak.
I am currently 90.4kg – I was at 87.3 about 5-6 weeks ago !! I should be losing about 1/3 kilo a week, but instead it’s going on. Doing some googling it’s common to put weight on with these tablets, so that’s why I am blaming them, but people say only about 2-3kg - so maybe I am about to turn the corner and it might come off again ?
The chance of me losing 10.5kg in 9 weeks is highly unlikely. But I will try !!
Keep smoking – for now ;)

What do ‘base’ and ‘actual’ mean? You can’t have two weights.

Actual is fairly self explanatory, that's what I currently weigh :) The base (baseline) is what I, ideally, need to be each day to reach 80kg by June 30. Looking at the table above I am 3kg heavier than where I would like to be at this time.
