Keeping to my "Only weigh in when it goes down' mantra, it's been 3 months :)
Been up as high as 78, and been down near 74 a couple of times.
Still eating basically the same food every day that I have for the last 3 years. Still drinking too much beer, but I am slowly trending the right way, so I am content with the slow progress. The hard work was done when I was 120kg !

I am pretty sure on my last weigh in I said I expected to put a bit of weight on due to a few holidays that were coming up, and I wouldn't post again until I got back to where I was. Well it took me over 3 months to get back to 74.8 kg !!
Whilst not ideal, I look back on the year as a whole and with a starting weight (on Jan 4) of 82.9 to 74.8 today - that's 8.1 kg over the year. Not massive numbers, but it's a steady loss, and I am really only looking at about 5kg next year to reach my target. Definitely a long way from the 120kg I was a few years ago !
I expect a few bad days over xmas (it would be rude not to), but nothing too bad, and hope to come back after the holidays around the 75kg mark. I still drink too much, but I have gotten into ice hockey in a big way (which is not easy at 53 !!) - but loving it, and it works off a few of the beers(it is also the cause for a few beers :) ).
Anyway, good luck to you all over xmas !! Enjoy yourselves, and worry about the diet next year :)

Last weigh in before 4 days of drinking and eating (mainly drinking). I fully expect to put on 2kg over the next 4 days, and I am ok with that (sort of).
I'm pretty confident I can work most of it off in about 2 weeks, unfortunately, I am then going away again drinking for 3 days (another kg or so). Hopefully I can be back under 75kg by about second week of October.
And on that, I am under 75kg !! First time since way before i can remember. Probably back in school I suppose. Brings the total loss to around the 45kg mark. Wow that's a whole person. Can't believe it when I think about it.
Still have about 5kg to go (I think), but in no hurry, Maybe mid next year.
Buying all my clothes in 'small' size now !! Was 2xl/3xl. Didn't have any jeans that fitted (that I liked anyway). Was wearing cargo pants with elastic waist. I (today) am wearing levis 31 waist, and looking at size 30 !!
Honestly never thought I could do it, still not really sure how I did :)

Thought I would weigh in now, as the next 4 weeks include a couple of long weekend / holidays (we don't have any lockdowns :) ),and definitely include lots of beer and poor meal choices :)
I honestly think it will be mid October until I get back to this weight. But I am ok with that.

I tend to only update this when I have lost weight :) So this time it's taken about 3 weeks to post a negative figure :) Was hoping to see a 75.x number this morning (as I was 76.1 yesterday as well), but no such luck. And the packet of toobs I had for breakfast all but guarantees I wont see 75.x tomorrow as well ;)
Weekends continue to add a few kg, then I lose it during the week (mostly).
Overall the trend is heading in the right direction, but it is definitely getting harder as the weight comes off. I remember when I was over 100kg, I could easily lose over 1kg a week. Now I've only managed about 6kg since the beginning of the year.
Luckily I am within about 5kg of where I want to be, so it it takes another year to reach that goal, then that's fine.
