Reasonably happy with 1.4kg loss for the week. had 2 days of excess drinking :) which I have no doubt halted progress a little. Tried to make up for it on other days :)
I have made a bet with my brother. He's smoked since he was 16, and I've been fat since about the same time. So I told him that if I ever get down to his weight (he's 80kg) then he would have to give up smoking. I hadn't told him that I had already lost 20+ kg in 3 or so months, so he took the bet ! Then I told him that I have less than 15kg to go, and we would set the limit at June 30 2020 (I believe I will do it about March). So now I have even greater drive to lose weight ;)
My only slight concern is xmas. I have 2 holidays coming up (2 weeks in bali in November, and 2 weeks in Cambodia/Thailand in Dec/jan).I don;t expect to lose weight over this period, but I will be happy if I can just maintain my weight over this difficult time. I don;t want to be counting calories when on holidays, but I will do my best to not over indulge on food (beer is a different story and is not negotiable :) ).
On another note while I am ranting :) I was at onetime looking seriously at buying 3xl shirts. Since that time I have packed away all my 2xl shirts in a box (hopefully never to be seen again), and now all my old xl shirts that I am wearing are getting too big. I don;t have any L sized shirts as I haven't been that size since I was 16 years old (I am 51 now). This losing weigh business is getting expensive with al the new clothes I have to buy :) Good problem to have though I suppose :)
