Good morning!
Okay, this morning was CRAZY! Daughter was finishing up her application, CV, portfolio of her art and had to turn it in to apply for her next level education TODAY.
We of course helped her out as much as we can, and I think she delived an awesome application.
Now that it's okay and out of the way, I can take my time to write a slightly better journal. I am simply doing an edit of the rushed one I had here originally.
I feel that I NEED to journal today.
I fell in yesterday. I am very annoyed by it, but what can I do. What's done is gone.
I decided to walk to a meeting in the afternoon, and the end result was that I not only walked, but also got chocolate. LOL. I would (calorie wise) have been way better off simpy riding with a coworker to that meeting.
Still, my final calorie consumption yesterday was not as bad as I feared. Dinner wasn't as heavy on the calories as I had expected, so that saved my rear quite some. I still ended up over my RDI, but it is what it is. Today is another day.
I did gain a full kilo - that same kilo I lost yesterday. It is of course not only the chocolate I did that - but it is kinda funny how it coincides. Is there a connection? Does it hold water, or something else? I don't really know.
No matter the reason, it mentally gives me a slap on the wrist for over indulging. It shows me, correct or not, that I shouldn't do that.
Plan for the future? Keep going as I have the last week, but with a little more rigidness when it comes to those damn urges.
So, today I am on track, I have the whole day's meals planned and I'm good to go.
Looking at my intake for the last week, I am still in a massive deficit, and i have plenty of room for Indulgence Day tomorrow, which I'm looking forward to. It's been nice to be back on my weight loss journey, but a guilt free day "off" (not really, but with a much higher RDI) is more than welcome tomorrow.
Today, I'm thankful for: - Back on track! - and with not-as-much RDI damage as feared yesterday. - A kilo gained. That'll teach me! LOL - A quiet day at work. - Daughter turning in her application.
I probably won't get around to comment on y'alls journals too much these next few days. However, I will read as much as I can. :)
