I feel like I could meet my short term goal this summer! My exercise plan is in place, what I really have to watch out for is CALORIC INTAKE! Yep, good ole calories...
Problem is, I love food. And so many things I do get associated with snacks. I find I almost always have to have popcorn if I'm at the movies. If I curl up to read a book, I love having a little bowl of either chocolate or chips to munch.
At home, it's easier to manage...I just don't have any *bad for me* junk in the house. If I want a nosh while reading, I can have a serving of fruit and nut trail mix, or a half cup of fresh berries. It's outside in *the real world* where I run into problems!
So, I have renewed my interest in the Food Diary here on FatSecret. I was tracking my calories like a fiend when I first started here and then, as I lost more and more weight, I felt I didn't need to account for every little morsel that I popped in my mouth. Maybe I won't have to care so much when I'm super close to my goal, but I think it's something I have to really focus on right now.
