Forced myself to go to the gym, even though I was very comfy on the couch. I jogged on the treadmill and then on to the eliptical...didn't do the milage I wanted but I am hoping that I can run 5 miles tomorrow. The only problem is I am meeting some old co-workers after work for dinner, so not sure If I will make it. Looks like tomorrow is the one nice day this week so I am hoping by the time I get home that it is not too dark and still nice out so I can run around the neighborhood. If not I will be forced to lift at the gym and I hate lifting.

Just finished running 5 miles...in a row! lol. I didn't think I would finish but I did! Yeah! It helped that i was watching biggest loser while running (ok, not really running but jogging). Hopefully i will be able to walk tomorrow morning. I wasn't going to run today since I got home from work late and was hungry but decided that I would head to the gym during biggest loser and finish watching at the gym. I am so glad I decided to do that rather than sit on the couch and watch tv. Yeah!! I have a training day on a computer program tomorrow so probably be sitting all day long. I don't know how they are going to stretch out an entire day to teach us how to use personal responce devices in the classroom, but I guess I soon will find out. So that may be the perfect day to take off from working out and then get some housework done before my friend comes down for the weekend. Wouldn't want her to come visit with a messy house. :)
This weekend shamrockfest is happening in DC. So much fun! It is my favorite outdoor festival. 50 bands and a bunch of green beer all day long, really it doesn't get much better than that! And it is all you can drink beer, so that means every beer I drink is calorie free :) So I know that this weekend will not be the best food and drink consumption but I am ok with it! Hey it is St. Patty's day! (or almost anyway) oh, on second thought maybe I shouldn't skip my workout...maybe I will just take the dog on a nice walk tomorrow. :)

Went running outside this evening even though I was so tired from little sleep last night. I hate daylight savings! I have been loving the weather and the fact that I don't have to find parking at the gym but rather can just throw on my shoes and run around the neighborhood. :) I can feel it getting a bit colder towards the end of my run, so sad that 70 degree weather is not here to stay yet. I really don't feel very prepared to run 1o miles in april..but I am keeping going and hopfully the day of the event I wlll make it through. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to run 5 miles...which I have yet to do in at one time.

So for the last two days I have been drinking water like crazy. I really think it is helping. I feel good, I woke up with a nice number on the scale. :) It helps that I have had yesterday off and today off for snow. I find it is so easy to get a soda (my downfall) at work. I have Stuck to only 1 bottle at work a day, but I would like to have none. It always seems like when I do that I come in exhausted, or kids are getting on my nerves or I am used to having a soda with lunch so I do. Tomorrow when we go back to work I am going to try and bring my water bottle with me. The problem becomes that the water at school tastes horrible!
