My weight seemed to ‘plateau ‘ again (going up for a few days and then eventually settling back down.) This time I was ready for it and didn’t let it get me down. Looks like the last 2/3 months I experienced fast weight loss the first 2.5 weeks and a plateau the last 1.5 weeks/ish. (Or 1.5 was/1 wk) I’m not expecting the fast weight loss again this month because I’m learning not to have expectations of my body and let it just do it’s thing. But I do gain understanding from beginning to see its patterns. It helps me understand all the parts of the cycles I’m going through and to begin to appreciate my body instead of having expectations and then dissatisfaction with it. It’s doing its best always at every moment. It never gives up. But I can diminish its ability to function with putting extra stress psychologically and therefore physically and I can also help it thrive by cultivating happy thoughts and feelings. I’m overly practiced in the former and training in the latter. 💪

Oh my goodness gracious me! 160’s whaaaaat???! I’m 4 lbs away from losing 30 lbs. and making it into a normal BMI range (as roughly calculated online according to age and height). I can’t believe I’m so close to hitting my first benchmark goal. And so fast too! I was not expecting to see 169 in June!!! Lalalalala Thank you keto/IF, calorie deficit (not big one, enough to lose 1 Lb./wk but in reality since keto/IF been losing average 2.25/wk), oh, and thanks to MEEEEE! Doodoop! 😋💞🤪😁🌟☀️ I already feel like I reached my goal. I feel the magnitude of the accomplishment of it all, the process, the growth, the learning, the aha! Moments, the feeling more empowered, more light on my feet, more trusting of myself.

I just reached 45 days of tracking my food. I never thought I would ever do such a thing but it’s unexpectedly awesome, so worth the time it takes. I thought it would be a cumbersome chore and now I’m thankful that I have this tool to keep me empowered and to know that I’m on track even if the scale is fluctuating. It shows me how much I’ve done for my health. I’m not guessing anymore about stuff I used to worry about. It gives me motivation and focus everyday. I can’t wait to put in a meal, look at the numbers, and plan for the next. I’ve learned so much about food and how my body relates to it. I’m proud of myself for doing this. It feels like an accomplishment in and of itself along with the weight loss efforts. Yay!
